Cultivating Resonance- another webinar :)

October 17, 2019

You’ve probably noticed I’ve been reallllly focused on webinars that integrate the relational neurosciences with child/play therapy!  I’ve been doing one webinar a month, linking one topic from the relational neurosciences to child/play therapy- an intro webinar, complex trauma, memory processing…and coming up is polyvagal theory and the neurobiology of attachment.

Those are fun, short, introductory webinars.  And I decided I wanted to do something with a little more depth this winter-season, too!

Marshall Lyles and I taught a four-part webinar series in 2018 on Cultivating Resonance- Embracing the WE in Child/Play Therapy.  We had a BLAST- and one sweet participant sent me this love-letter:

This webinar series seriously blew my expectations out of the water. I have a skeptical part that wondered if I would learn anything new, but I felt so grateful that I decided to sign up. The way you and Marshall spoke and taught resonated with so many parts of me, and your presence (it’s no wonder you speak and teach on presence–you really DO embody it!) came through via the webinar, which is really wild. Maybe it has to do with neuroception, but something that sometimes happens to me during trainings in which the trainer presents with such empathy and authenticity is that I get emotional (even if not related to the material), and that is something I experienced again. Your warmth comes through so clearly, and I look forward to future opportunities to learn from you.

This four-part webinar series will cover:

  1. Cultivating Resonance: Embracing the WE of Play Therapy
  2. The “ME” in “WE”- Bringing our Whole Selves into the Play Therapy Room
  3. Celebrating the Ongoing Opportunity for Ruptures & Repairs in Play Therapy
  4. Supporting the WE Between Parents and Children through Play Therapy

You can attend live (definitely more fun!!!) or register to receive the recordings.
